"The Norwegian government has no control over how the Nobel Committee awards its prizes. Greenland is a territory of Denmark, not Norway." 'nuff said.

TBF, you shouldn't even need to quote that clarification. Surely the first step in the 'art of the deal' is checking that the party you want to make a deal with actually controls the thing you want.

Although like an onion, this has layers. Is not getting a Nobel prize a good reason to start a war? Is it proof that irony isn't always funny?

Why would he write that to a norwegian official, when the Nobel Prize is a swedish thing?!

      Whaddäbbout Epstein, btw?

        >Why would he write that to a norwegian official, when the Nobel Prize is a swedish thing?!

That makes perfect sense, it's a very Trump thing to do. Like slapping tariffs on an uninhabited island.

The Nobel Peace Prize is a Norwegian thing.

Oopsie! I've overlooked that exception :-)

Maybe because of the millions of SEK.

          But still...: What about Epstein?

(Everybody should ask him that, every single time he utters something! Until it's all in the open. Unredacted.)

I mean I would assume that the extent of Trump's knowledge of the Nordics is "where Santa lives", tbh.

Will Trump have a rather Large security contingent while at Davos ?

Putting the 11th Airborne, a specialized arctic warfare attack battalion, on 4-hour deployment standby for "Minnesota" is a clear pre-attack or bluff signal for Greenland. 25a must be invoked now before this idiotic insanity gets any more real and unrecoverable.
