As we've seen, across years no UI theme is permanent. It might stick around for a long time, but it won't stay forever.

Similar comments are made every time Apple makes a big UI change. Everyone hates it, then it evolves to the point people like it. In 10 years when Apple moves on to the next UI, people will be begging to go back to the Liquid Glass in macOS 35.

I've been using it since it first released. I got used to it, just like everything before it. There are things I would change, of course, but WWDC is coming in June and we'll see how it evolves. The fact that people are still complaining about it is a bit crazy. Everyone know's Apple release schedule. They're not going to make a radical shift back to an old UI midyear.

Would people rather Apple take the Microsoft approach? How long have they spent migrating the Control Panel over to Settings? 10 years? I still don't think they're done. At least Apple rips the bandaid off. They got everything updated across all platforms in a single release.
