Agent swarms have been around and heavily used for months. It's odd that they're big headlines again.

Maybe I'm slow but I didn't use them much until recently when Cursor and Claude Code made them a main part of the harness.

Must be different circles. I saw the swarms in Claude Code, Cursor and others as manifestations of the swarms people were hand rolling towards the end of last year.
I'm mostly curious why the resurgence because your post isn't the only swarm related thing that I've been noticing recently.

It's definitely being pushed more by the big labs recently, and it's interesting how they favor local hardware.
