    QBasic was where a lot of us wrote our first code. I wanted that blue screen back, so I rebuilt QBasic 1.1 from scratch to run in the browser. Open a .BAS file from 1994 and it just runs: the graphics, the PLAY music, even the speed. I checked it against thousands of real programs running in DOSBox. No install or sign-up needed. My hobby these days is asking Claude to generate complex QBasic programs and then running them in QBasic. You can find them in gallery.
